Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Tell ypu what you go look for proof that they didn't improve healthcare between 2000-2025 with a specific focus on 2009-now and I'll find you proof of that.

You'll find you are going to have difficulty finding sources that claim otherwise which I know from when I didn't believe this claim and looked for them.

China was embarrassed that they did not have universal coverage and they do now.

ONE thing, that everywhere else except one developed country has (the US), doesn't absolve them of the absolute torrent of bad-to-evil shit they do, TO THEIR OWN PEOPLE (excluding the vile crap they do to non-chineese people and diaspora).

Oh, just gonna throw this into the mix. The authoritarian CCP now has the healthcare of their population under their control. Now if you act out, or are the wrong religion/color/anything, they have one MORE lever to pull against you. How altruistic. (They did it with the Health Codes app during covid. People got uppity and they coded the area red so those people had to be quarantined and could be violently detained openly "for public health"...when it was just a protest they didn't like.)

Everywhere else better mean the developed nations otherwise you might be shocked how many still have no access to universal care.

What do your claims about "their own people" have to do with my point about improved access to healthcare in China?

[–] Freefall 1 points 1 day ago

First part, yeah I meant of developed nations, I didn't communicate clearly.

Second part, it would be as much a non-sequiter as you bringing up healthcare like it had any relivence to the original topic. Yup, they got socialized healthcare....controlled by an evil authoritarian government that will now use that as an additional lever to control their population. Even their "benevolent acts" are transparent control schemes. I get it, you are a shill and we are not changing each other's minds.
