It's time. Everyone agrees the DNC is a failure for numerous reasons. It's time to stop bitching and figure out how to fix it.

How do we get people like Bernie, AOC and Jon Stewart in charge?

The DNC chair election is on Feb 1st. That person has a hufe impact on party policy. I suggest starting there.

Exactly who gets to vote for that chair? Do they hold elections? I doubt we have any say. If we did we would have fix this shit in 2016. Instead the fucking elite still hold all the sway with the DNC and we will never get anything better. They are going move futher to the right as they always do.

448 members vote. State party chairs + vice chairs + some picked by the current chair

The American Prospect has a list of them all that they put in a google spreadsheet

See nothing will change. They vote only the one that will bring them donor cash. We really need a new party.. Bernie kept telling us how too. Build it from ground up. But no one listened.

No , we just got a list of people that we need to harass. This is the internet. There are people here from all over the country. Take the spreadsheet Which is already sorted by region, And add email addresses phone numbers and ways to contact them. Make it a list telling individuals Who they need to harass in their region.

Divide and conquer motherfuckers

They do hold elections on February 1st.

It's a start, but not voting is probably what the party elites are counting on. You won't see CNN or MSNBC emphasizing the importance of this election, but that may be intentional.

Voting where we the people vote? Didn't see that also I'm registered independent. Left the party after they fucked over Sanders in 2016.

[–] electricyarn 5 points 2 days ago

I was wrong, 448 DNC members get to vote. The members who get to vote are also not elected.

I guess we could pressure them but at the end of the day there is no accountability for this role.

Years ago Pete Buttigieg ran for the gig as an unknown in order to get name recognition. Im hoping he runs again.
