Might as well have painted a target on his face.

Funniest thing about that is they only help in an all-out fire fight to protect your vital bits except the head which would have a helmet. She’s not going into any situation nearly so dangerous and if someone wanted to take her out, specifically, there’s plenty of options.

She might as well have a mall ninja sword strapped to her back.

Lie detectors don’t work except as an intimidation technique so, yes, it’s Gestapo time.

Yep. I have a bunch of Epic’s free games. Never bought a single game from them and probably never will.

The experience on Steam is just better. And Epics lawsuits look less like they’re fighting for the little guy and more that they are envious of the market that other companies have.

They can be used for playing the video game.

Now they're going to go after you with 'We know you have a secret messaging app you use, Signal, and we know you used it to plan playing baby shark at the mall last Tuesday.'

This does nothing for their case. They don’t know if you planned the crime on Signal. And, this is on non-issue if you:

  1. don’t talk to the police,
  2. have a decent lawyer.

If you fail those two basic principles of dealing with the police, you’ve screwed yourself anyway. Accusing you of using Signal carries no weight in a court and likely wouldn’t be admissible unless they already had evidence of the contents of the messages.

I like Matt Damon as an actor, generally. But, I just don’t see him as Odysseus. His voice, demeanor and look just don’t fit. I feel like this is more to throw a famous actor in the title role to draw crowds.

The character is bigger than any actor. It’d be great to see an unknown/lesser known actor in the role.

I’m starting to get the feeling he wants to be assassinated.

"He who saves his Country does not violate any Law." is what he said.

Get the guillotines sharpened.

Find the place in the US that’s farthest from any nuclear reactor, they probably moved there.

What is this guy? (lemmy.world)

I recently sold of a table saw that I wasn’t using mainly because I lacked room to store and use it.

If I want to do some DIY small building and remodeling projects, what’s a good alternative?

Example of projects I have in mind: cutting down parts of a kit cabinet that doesn’t fit in the space; building a small credenza; possibly cutting lumber for framing a shed.
