Dentists. Because it’s true. It helps produce saliva which helps with plaque. It also exercises your jaw muscles. They emphasize crunchy vegetables and fruits which are plain healthy.

Trump doesn’t go after big tech to help the little guy. Trump goes after big tech to bring them to heel.

The dumbass CEO has fallen for the MAGA lie that these billionaires are working for the the “little people”. They work for no one but themselves and their loyalists.

I am, however, very proud of my 14yo, who sums up her experience trying to respectfully disagree with leftists this way: "They're allergic to nuance."

The “I am 14 and this is deep” moment at the end pretty much sums up the weak rationalizing in this article.

However they end up implementing this it will be quietly scaled back as soon as the affected industries complain of a lack of cheap labor.

Agriculture, hospitality, construction and more are going to flip out or have to pay competitive wages and inflate prices.

Just like Microsoft crushed the iPod with Zune or Sony with XBox.

Valve is big enough and entrenched enough—and MS fucks up consumer stuff enough—that I doubt they are really at risk of being crushed.

And MS failed at crushing Linux or the major Linux vendors even during the SCO phase.

That’s not why. It’s more like FOMO.

They don’t want to be the one left behind because they didn’t jump on the latest hype train. If AI hype fizzles, most of these companies will just carry on like it wasn’t a thing or it’ll get incorporated in a more modest form and called something else.

The same thing happened with crypto/nft/blockchain. There’s a few still trying to milk that cow but most who tried just turned and left it.

What is this guy? (lemmy.world)

I recently sold of a table saw that I wasn’t using mainly because I lacked room to store and use it.

If I want to do some DIY small building and remodeling projects, what’s a good alternative?

Example of projects I have in mind: cutting down parts of a kit cabinet that doesn’t fit in the space; building a small credenza; possibly cutting lumber for framing a shed.
