Just missing my waffles or pancakes, but this does it in a pinch. Along with hot cup of tea and I love it.

Can't speak for everyone, but so far that's been my experience, yes.

Mind you, it may have some comorbidity with a generally upset digestive system due to stress, but the people my age (30-40-ish) with whom I've interacted so far have confirmed a degradation in their capacity to handle heavy meals.

Spicy food tends to deal an especially nasty blow, so there goes one of my favourite things...

Edit: and it's not necessarily the heartburn in itself, I find the bloating and that feeling of churning in the abdomen to be more uncomfortable.
