None of these billionaires know how to survive without a hundred people personally tending to them so I'm not sure how long they think they'll last in their bunkers
They're building their bunkers to support staff as well. Don't think them stupid, because they're not. They're just evil, not stupid.

You can make the argument that yes they’re rich may not be all that smart but they can afford to pay smart people, and while that is true, the majority of these narcissists is that they believe only they have all the answers.

Your last point is the one I was trying to convey. Don't underestimate them. They have enormous staffs to lean upon for expert opinions on most subjects, and the resources to do whatever is recommended.
on a dooms day scenario there is very little stopping the staff taking over the bunker though.
