Example:
- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. No one needs to send me anything important, it’s all just junk mail and other nonsense. But I still have to go through it every day to make sure I don’t miss the one important letter I get per month, usually from some corporate or state organization that wants to extort me.
If people just couldn’t send me letters at all I think my life would be better.
The definition of tyranny. Shut it down immediately.
Weird reply but OK.
I'm making fun of you because you're acting like checking the mail is such a huge burden that no one else should have access to the Postal Service.
I know you're making fun of me but it's weird because I didn't say that at all.
That's fair, I was extrapolating based on the typical rightwing rhetoric that I usually hear about the USPS.
Well shit, I'm convinced. We should scrap this government program.
Let me say this for the rest of the people in the USA need to hear it: YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY PERSON THAT MATTERS GET THE FUCK OVER YOURSELF AND LEARN TO LIVE IN A COOPERATIVE SOCIETY YOU SELF-CENTERED FUCKS.
Take a deep breath buddy. I am just speaking to my personal experience, which, by definition, does not necessarily involve other people. Nor did I say we should scrap anything.
In fact, I was hoping someone here would clearly explain to me why the postal service is so essential. I assume it is, but it's just not clear to me personally how. But it's 2024 online discourse so expecting more than shouting and insults was naive of me I suppose.
