My apartment is not in the ground floor, so I occasionally get to see different creatures hanging out in the tree just outside my window. I get to see a lot of birds, but was not expecting to see this cute little owl trying to sleep during the day.
Not the only time I've seen an owl hang out on that branch, but the only time I've seen one hang out for hours.

They don't like sharing, so it's either the same one or its mate most likely.

I think it's the same one, but hard to tell given the bright light shining on the little fella in the night time pic. Did not know they were unlikely to share the same space though, so that does help my hypothesis. Thanks for your info!
Most owls don't like company. Even though most mate for life they don't usually hang out unless it's time to have babies.
