Imagine if millions of people walked the streets to stop the healthcare scam of America? Blue and red United....
Whenever we have big protests, we get tear gassed, shot with rubber bullets, beaten with nightsticks, and arrested. Why do you think this time would be different?
Vietnam ended because of protest.
The police cannot stop millions of people that match because most of them would agree with you.

Protest isn't easy but it gains traction when everyone is united which at the moment the United States is not.... The longer it's citizens are not united, the longer corporations will fill its coffers and pig out on your hard earned cash....
The media keeps you distracted so that none of you see how similar you are with the other side. They have even convinced people to no longer speak to Trump people.... Who does that benefit? They did in fact stop millions of people in more recent protests, once again by using violence against the protesters.
As I said, it is not easy. When the elites believes they have no resistance, they pig out....
There is only so much that cops can prevent in a protest, especially in a day and age of technology where everything is recorded
I agree with the other things you said about solidarity.
But your implied view of protests, where the protesters have to suffer violence at the hands of the oppressors, is just insane to me.
And cops have been recorded commiting war crimes against the American people, and guess what the recordings did? Fucking. Nothing.
I am not saying that protesters should suffer through violence, that is twisting what is said. I said that when you are united as a people, you are capable of great things..... And protest is one of tools that you have....

Listen what I am saying is that protest will always have repossession, I ain't saying its right but imagine the women who fought for their rights to be considered equal. They were beaten and jailed but it didn't stop them and eventually it brought changes...
Nothing comes without sacrifice and honestly I don't want to live in a world where murder is the solution to our problems as it is a slippery slope in my view.

As I said, I don't have he answer but protest and boycott do work. It is what made the world change the policies for apartheid South Africa, it is what forced the British out of India.

I’d love to know what media you think I look at. The only social I’m on is lemmy. I don’t own a TV. I pirate news articles from all over, especially business and foreign affairs publications. I read the entire wide spectrum (/s) of pro capitalism right wing to pro capitalism liberal US media. Then I read the smaller independent leftist/anarchist/Marxist stuff. Then I read international news and the general news wires. I read it all.
My view points come from watching this system fail me over and over and over again and seeing the root of it is capitalism and imperialism itself. I cheer on evil CEOs getting shot. They’ve been committing social murder for decades while our government and legal system condone it with no recourse for the public and no more peaceful options left. I can’t believe it took this long.

I hope someone that is smarter then I am will find a better way that won't throw the United States into further division.... My concern is that Billionaires will use this murder as an excuse to hire private militias (not the cops but mercenaries like black water) which would lead to civil war.... Perhaps far fetched..... You're right that a nicer solution sounds swell. If these people were prosecuted or the US people did come together to stop these predatory corporations it would be better than violence.
But at this point it's a trolley problem. I mean I can only assume that part of your issue is that it's more abstracted. If you were with this billionaire CEO driving a trolley car, and he was running it full steam at a pile of tied up sick people on the train track and the only way for you to stop him was to push him off the moving train and grab the breaks yourself I would hope the "right" thing to do would be clear whether you could bring yourself to do it or not.
