Less likely to be randomly assaulted in my car though
Have you run the numbers to compare getting assaulted vs dying in a traffic accident?
^ this: people always scared of being assaulted, never for a collision. Numbers speak clearly
Aren't dark parking lots a way bigger cliche regarding assaults?
Oh right. Another good point!
They do buy bigger and bigger cars though, that probably does make them safer.
Far, far more likely to actually die.
I both ride the bus and drive frequently. I've never been assaulted in either case.
...therefor no one ever has?
Seems like there’s moderate risk of aggression for everyone getting around, given all the road rage about.
If you’re attacked on the bus, at least other people can defend you. The survivability of crazies on the bus vs the road seems very nebulous to me otherwise.
