After these past 9 years what we have seen repeatedly, is that we're up against dozens of millions of people who wouldn't piss on you to put out a fire. This election showed us it's not just right wingers who are without empathy, but also fake leftists who couldn't be bothered to vote against trump.

I wish I was one of the people who could leave the US. We have nothing left to be hopeful about here. Everything we've been worried about will go more poorly than even the most pessimistic viewpoint predicts. We're done.
