What was it before that, though?
Sacred Indian living grounds with a few burial grounds here and there.
Best I've been able to explain it is that it's a country build on hope and dreams, which are not compatible with reality and truth.
@Rooskie91 Almost no existing country older than 100 years is built on good intentions.
We had some that were. They either got crushed or usurped or lost their way and succumbed to the rot.
Doesn't mean it can't work, and doesn't mean we shoudn't try, but you know... Odds are slim, so don't beat yourself up if you couldn't do it.
