meat alternatives, like impossible beef and chicken patties.
Not sure why the down votes, those didn't get recalled, so you're right. That would be an acceptable food to get instead.
Before I edited the comment, it said vegan meat alternatives, without stipulating impossible beef, so I thought maybe the vegan part triggered people? Though I still got downvotes even after. Ah well ๐คทโโ๏ธ
I'm wondering if some others may be downvoting because a lot of non-meat products have also been recalled....waffles, fruit products, etc. Those don't have meat in them so you're not necessarily safe by avoiding meat.
It's probably a safe bet though if only because the machines and training are much fresher.
Grain can definitely be a vector. So anything grain-based that people might be prone to undercook could be suspect. Unless they are pasteurized or something before packaging. No idea if that's the case or not with meat substitutes.
