The problem isn't these children, it's the children that can't be vaccinated for legitimate medical reasons. They rely on herd immunity to prevent these diseases from spreading effectively in the population in general. Herd immunity levels vary by the disease, but generally it needs to be around 90%+ so those that can't receive the immunizations can still be effectively protected.

The current anti-vax bullshit brings those rates down into the 80% range or even lower in many areas already. It only gets worse as it spreads more.

My friend has stage 3 cancer.

Her chemo killed her white blood cells.

If she gets sick, she dies.

She can't get a flu shot. She depends on people around her getting flu shots.

Please get the flu shot. You won't die, but she might.
