Good. I want my ebikes to be quiet and transparent, like the electric powertrain isn't even there so I can enjoy my rides in peace and quiet. So many ebikes are basically motorcycles with how aggressively fast and noisy they are.
For some reason many ebikes are heavier than they need to be. And I'm not talking about the cheap tanks coming from noname shops. I'm talking about reputable bike brands equipped with Bosch, Shimano, etc. I was able to build a steel-framed bike with a 500W hub, 400Whr battery, real torque sensor pedal assist, disc brakes and a rack in 15kg (33lbs). Now all the components are light, including the frame (for steel a frame), but they aren't Dura Ace/XTR level. I got a mix of Deore, SLX and XT on it. There's probably another kilo that can be shaved off if one went with aluminum frame, lighter components and lighter wheels.
