same process.
buy a ticket, hop over.
or buy a ticket, fill out a visa form, hop over.
whatever the type of Visa is, you check the requirements, fill out a(usually online) form, submit it and receive your Visa.
Dude, immigration is not as easy as you think it is.
It's incredible just how detached from reality they are.
everything I've said is backed up with incontrovertible evidence.
You're modeling fashionably ignorant cynicism because you don't understand how the big, wide world works.
You can’t really be calling people ignorant while being so obviously clueless.
You cant just immigrate to another country at the drop of a hat. There’s a process, and a lot of times stringent requirements particularly for Western European countries if you aren’t already living in the EU.
"You can’t really be calling people ignorant while being so obviously clueless."
I am a traveler, and everything I've said is backed up by personal experience, screenshots, every travel website, and official government websites.
people who are claiming it is impossible or difficult to travel or buy a plane ticket for a few hundred dollars are ignorant of the realities of travel.
ignorant means they are unaware of certain knowledge.
"You cant just immigrate to another country at the drop of a hat."
few points here:
you made up this straw man of permanent immigration yourself, which is not the same thing as traveling.
you absolutely can permanently immigrate to certain countries if you choose to, and the initial process can be as easy as buying a tourist visa.
immigration is unnecessary in most travel situations.
"There’s a process, and a lot of times stringent requirements particularly for Western European countries if you aren’t already living in the EU."
completely incorrect.
this is an example of your ignorance.
you are clearly unaware of how traveling to Europe works for Americans, and you are equating permanent immigration with traveling, which are not the same thing.
you can buy a ticket to any European country part of the Schengen area, fly over there immediately and stay visa-free for 3 months as an American.
If you don't know something, ask questions, don't make things up.
It's genuinely amazing how far out of touch you are, I don't even know where to start.
You definitely don't just fill out an online form to move to my country permanently.
"I don't even know where to start."
you sure don't.
"You definitely don't just fill out an online form to move to my country permanently."
wherever you heard that, you're misunderstanding how travel works again.
If you want to move to one country and never move again, you usually have to become a permanent resident, which is slightly different than a visa process, but ultimately similar with longer waiting periods.
