I think the "bulletproof" claims are vastly over hyped. It can block 9mm and that's about it. Rifle rounds can easily penetrate it lol.
The same is true for the door panels of a 70's car

Rifle rounds are often way more penetrative than people realize.
What do you call something that can stop 9mm bullets? It's not resistant to 9mm it's bullet proof.
So maybe it really just needs a qualifier like 9mm bullet proof.
But ya, calling it bullet proof without a qualifier is a bit much. Also not the glass, only the sides. 9mm side door bullet proof.
Yep, no one would say a bomb suit isnβt bomb proof because it canβt stop a nuke.
Nothing is truly bullet proof, you just need a bigger bullet.
