i know all about rogue waves, thanks.
people are unfamiliar with waves. I wouldn't have guessed that, but I guess more and more people live in cities these days.
this is good knowledge to have in my back pocket.
What a dumb thing to say. Even if you live near the water, not that many people would spend much time on the open ocean for more than a few hours. Not to mention that the majority of ports and access to ocean faring boats are going to be in or near cities anyway.
You sound like someone who knows very little, yet gatekeeping like you’re some worldly person.
"What a dumb thing to say" - ieatpillowtags
goes on to exactly agree with the "dumb" conclusion that not many people know about waves because they live in cities and don't spend much time on the water.
slick.
also, "gatekeeping" in what world?
that's completely inapplicable here.
Actually if you read what I wrote, you have more likely access to ocean vessels if you live in a city. That is the opposite of what you said.
If you want to believe that agreeing with what I said is some kind of argument, go for it.
Aww see, now here I thought I was helping to educate a poor ignorant person, and it turns out you were a troll all along. Very sad!
"Very sad!" - okay, Donald.
"troll". how?
is this like how you used "gatekeeping" incorrectly earlier?
What're you going to do with that knowledge? 😂
there are lots of topics that people choose to take offense at for any number of reasons, I try to sympathize when possible.
Saying that waves being on the ocean is not exactly "WTF" is apparently on that list.
TIL.
