Right. This is at its core a mechanical computer. This is only a few changes away from doing stuff like calculating real world data

It is calculating real-world data. It's just specialized and applied calculations.

Yeah, but my hardware knowledge is real basic. Closest I get to stuff like that would be PLCs, but I'm not really an industrial guy.

Maybe as a hobby though
