The DNC is not what pushed for the ban, that is a false statement. It is a broad, bipartisan position. Even Trump supported a ban while he was president.
It has nothing to do with censorship of critics, the NYT was brutally critical of Biden after his debate, yet no one pushed for censorship. Twitter features extensive criticism, yet no bans. It has to do with China being a potential military rival in a future war, and social media apps being able to gather intelligence.
If Harris provides no useful intelligence to the Chinese, then there is no falseness. She does nothing illegal or unethical until the ban goes into effect.
Like I said, propaganda. No basis in factuality, and full of made-up things.
Duopoly talking points are propaganda from the owner class.
Spoken like someone that owns nothing.
And no, just common fucking sense when we have guaranteed Taiwanese independence and China has said military force is possible for re-unification. You can put those two things together, right? Is either one of those made up in your opinion?
It does not seem to be "common sense" when you straight up believe in US military and duopoly propaganda like if it's the holy scripture.
It goes back to those critical of the owner-class and those that are apologetics for them.
Well, I do believe it when my country says to Taiwan we will defend their independence with military force. Do you think this is false, and we will not do so?
I also believe Xi Jinping when he says that military force is possible to reunify with Taiwan if necessary. Do you think this one is false, and he has not said this?
Assuming neither is false, can you detect a potential problem with Chinese software being prevalent in America?
Again:
Ah, so you think that's all made up. Well, don't know what to tell ya then, but go ahead and just believe nothing the US says. Just a country that does nothing but lies like some great satan I guess.
But we will go to war regardless, if necessary. We have a very, very long history of it. Try not to be too surprised about it.
I think the software we need to worry about is our own country.
It collects all of our data and much more information, while hackers access our financial and private data on multiple security issues these corporations keep having.
The US is known for our endless wars.
Taiwan and Ukraine are pawns in a chess game; they will be sacrificed so the US/NATO can try more regime change wars and funnel profits to the owner class.
Yes, so if our software can do that, other country's software can too, right?
... that makes no sense. How is Ukraine being sacrificed to try more regime change wars?
And I never would've guessed you were a communist. Incidentally, the profits of our military companies are a tiny fraction of the profits of data companies. Like ByteDance for instance.
