BTW I only know about this Lemmy Brunch cause someone threw a link on the DT recently. and thank you for being a mod (whoever you are haha) Itβs gonna be sparse here for a minute lol.
It's all new and a bit confusing - reminds me a bit of the old newsgroups. I think we have gotten used to lots of people and constant real-time interaction, but there is a lot of benefit to less users too, it allows you to take your time and think about things without feeling if you haven't posted something straight away it will get lost.
I'm BrightFadedDog on Reddit - in fact I am on another instance I signed up for on Lemmy too. I couldn't connect to this group from that instance for some reason so I made a new user account here (I think I could have used the same name, but didn't realise it at the time). So now I have some sort of virtual Multiple Personality Disorder. Mr Woof is also being rebranded to RustyDog and Miss Meow to RavenCat.
Haha itβs like being on holiday and running into someone you know. My account is on this instance so thatβs handy.
