And Trump's a sociopathic narcissist. Neither are good choices but I still pick the one not pushing fascism

The article argues to swap out Biden with a more progressive canidate. It clearly would be better to do so with Trump, but it is what it is.

You seriously think an opinion article from the Guardian is arguing people should vote for Donald Trump?

Context, subtext, actual text. Survey says: Yes.

I don't believe you've actually read the article. It's not that long.

Fair enough.

reads article

Biden’s awful record on Gaza and decades of political baggage are more than enough reason to swap him for a real progressive

Yeah. Point stands. Shit on Biden. Claim to hate trump. Limit voter turnout. Mission Accomplished. Thanks Grauniad. Cheers.

Why blame an article and not the Democrats for keeping this unfit for any job - to say the least - candidate? Especially if we take into consideration Trump's popularity. There is still time to remove Biden, the problem is that I don't see the will. Under these circumstances, I would say that if Trump gets reelected it's on the Democrats, not the press. And the whole world will suffer the consequences.

First of all, Biden is ten times the President trump could ever be. Secondly, politics does not exist in a vacuum, it exists in media. Trump’s “popularity” is a media creation. Yes, people believe it, but it wouldn’t exist without the right-wing media in all its sleaziest forms. And that includes the “both sides” bent of ‘mainstream’ media.

I blame an article because that’s ground zero for the worldview of everyone. I also blame the Democratic Party, trump, etc., etc.
