I mean horses are still faster. Now on motorcycles, That would be badass.

They're faster on the charge, but bikes are incredibly efficient. Over a day a person on a bike will travel a lot further than one on horseback.

So better idea, rather than knights on bikes... bike mounted dragoons!

Robert Evens of behind the bastards fame did a podcast all about the movie Knightriders which is about knights on motorcycles. He was quite taken with it and it sounded pretty ok.
