Affleck is really running his paces in the multiverse lately, huh?
It seems clear that this DP will be a send-up of the recent multiverse insanity, using it to go places that for some goddamned reason no other property wants to - even though none of them have established a good reason why consequences matter if there are an infinite number of everything and everyone.
I just want to see more Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead...
Negasonic Teenage Warhead…. BEST SUPER HERO EVER.
Dude I want the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

And you shall have them.

I want more Zazie Beetz. Give her a series.
Yes! I love her.
Just recently watched Nine Days, and she is wonderful in it.
And she was in a very odd episode of Black Mirror. She was good, but at first blush the episode was kind of off compared to the others. After considering it for a bit, I like it more because I think its speaking to something more than what one might take away at face value.
Because, even if there are infinite versions of me, The only me's death I care about is my own.
Well that's fine for you, but what about when other peoples' lives are at stake? Why bother saving someone when you know there's an equally weighted universe where you fail anyway, and vise versa? There are good philosophical answers to these questions, and I'd like to see multiverse stories grapple with them, now that the novelty of seeing all the actors who played a given role has started to wear a little thin.
The only me's death I care about is my own.
I see no difference in the question being asked if the people are in this universe, a different one or multiple.
Are the lives of others worth more than yours? Is the same in both cases.
