These things are very possible here. As someone who has been a core part of this place for a while now and enjoying each moment in my own way, I thought of asking about what I realize is more like me to start off doing. Who wants to give it a go?

I'm bisexual, and trans. I've been on dates with men, and women, presenting as both a man and a woman. I usually just pay for myself, or awkwardly fail to turn them down when the other person offers to pay.

Or am I just the paragon saint of puppy love?

Seriously though, do y'all have a crush on each of your friends?

I just had a dream with very distinct (and beautiful) colors, which made me think about how my other dreams are pretty boring

For me I think it only happens every few months (or years)

I board as per usual without a hiccup on my flight from Denver to LA and I sit in my usual aisle seat. Waves of people walk past me for several minutes until the line trickles out and I realize that the doors are closed and I HAVE THE WHOLE ROW TO MYSELF!!

I am absolutely hyped this has never happened to me. I can fucking lay down in economy! Then I look across the aisle and my aisle buddy has a full row too! We high five everything is fucking fantastic.

Then the rub, I hear a guy two rows back ask for a new seat… I very literally prayed to a god I don’t believe in to spare me this night, and let me tell you god is real. I feel so bad for my aisle buddy though because the Kevin ended up sitting with him.

Let me tell you, reader, that is not all.

I set up my backpack as a pillow and chilled for a while before the drink cart came down. I figure I’m celebrating a big win so I decide to ask for a jack and coke for the first time on a flight. My flight attendant, this sweet sweet man, hands me TWO MINI JACK DANIELS AND A WHOLE CAN OF COKE FOR FREE!!! Do you hear what I am telling you??

I am fucking FLYING tonight bois. Not only do I get a whole row to my self despite all the odds, I also get two free drinks, AND IM CUTE!!! Fuck I feel good.

I swear I’d not seen the term “christofascism” until this year. It’s an apt term for all the talk about the new speaker of the house, rolling back of Roe v Wade, banning books and increased persecution of LGBT+ rights…

But if I was Christ I’d be pretty darn upset right now. I talk about love and tolerance and peace and you’re going to use my name to make shitty, power grabbing, political, oppressive moves? The fuckin audacity. I’d be flipping tables and calling out the hypocrites.

I know it’s a conversation as old as time. I also don’t believe Christian’s should be able to point at it and say “yeh but that’s not MY Jesus.” Doesn’t fucking matter, they’re identifying as a You so if You don’t do something about it then it’s as good as doin it yourself.

Sigh.

I just went through airport security and was quite surprised how easy it was (relatively speaking). Didn't have to go through a body scanner, didn't have to separate liquids, didn't have to take out my laptop, and my boarding pass wasn't even scanned. Did some rules change? Is their thoroughness related to terrorist threat levels?

In my setting, I'm exposed to a lot of people day by day, and sometimes I meet people who are celebrating things I've never heard of before. It sometimes feels like a Spongebob episode, I'm talking to them and they might say something like "we're observing national hat day today" or "we're celebrating Hiawatha Day" (apparently that's August 22nd). How many of you can relate? Have any non-conventional observances (for a lack of a better way to ask)?

Rule of 2s sometimes happens known as the Baader Meinhof phenomenon.

The latest episode of Loki had Tom Hiddleston impersonating an inflatable man for a visual gag

This week's episode of Taskmaster a British game show (coincidentally a Marvel character), released on YouTube with a challenge and had mostly British cast dance like an inflatable man https://youtu.be/KG03TeDzkuk?si=1nNvNJNHUKm3q7KP
