This was the longest song in my library until I got into Car Seat Headrest.

When I was like 11, before the Internet was widespread, I transcribed this song in my journal. Its lyrics were powerful to me. No shit, I heard it as:

"New blood joins this hood / And quickly he's a dude"

And I will never forgive myself for that. Like I will never forgive Metallica for being the faces that killed Napster in the day. Though, if they didn't, I'm sure someone else would have

This song was everywhere for what felt like forever. It almost seems too soon to post it. OTOH, I'm drinking a cocktail and jamming to it so :shrug:
