Better than 8388409 rows deleted at least.

Unfortunate. Although maybe I should have a look at the API

Yeah thinking of going over to another instance. Anyone know how easy it is to migrate subscriptions from one instance to another?

Incredible destruction 😮

Yep that's exactly what I was trying to convey. It does feel like the early internet days when everything was just a bit broken and streamlined UX was not at the forefront of tech. The primary users were the geeks that could figure this stuff out.

My understanding is there isn't one Lemmy. There are lots of instances, but they all talk to each other. I.e. they share the posts and comments their users make. If an instance becomes problematic then other instances will choose to stop receiving updates from them. So users of the bad instance can still see the content and comment on it, but other users won't see the content from those users.

I kind of like the lower comment count. It sucks when there are literally no comments, but for me, I'm much more inclined to leave a comment when there aren't too many already. Plus I found most comments were really low effort jokes. For every well thought out comment, there were a million 'this' type comments.

Plus everything is just a bit broken and requires some figuring out. I'm definitely pretty tech savvy, but I'm having a hard time imagining non tech savvy people figuring out how to sign up and access these communities, at least not in the current state of things.

Why is there a !yyc community as well as a !Calgary one? I've posted a bunch on the yyc community, but most posts didn't have too much discussion. How active is this one and would it make sense to merge them somehow?

I'm looking for something can put on top of an existing table that would turn it into a nice surface to play a boardgame on? I've looked and I see a lot of poker table toppers, but not as much stuff for general purpose boardgaming.

Thank you for contacting Wizards of the Coast Customer Service! The issue with the Mastery Pass not granting Uncommon ICRs on Levels 70 and higher has been reported to the Arena development team. Players who are missing Uncommon ICRs will be receiving a grant sometime in the near future. Thank you for your patience while this is being worked on.

I haven't been able to find an MTGA focused community. Anybody able to point me in the right direction?

Turns out she's not banned, just bad at using Facebook? Did she forget to log in or something?

After waiting 5 months for my order I finally got a copy and boy does it live up to the hype. What a terrific way to map the feeling of racing a car around the track into a boardgame. Pretty easy to teach too, had both my wife and my 10-year-old playing within 10 minutes. Lots of stuff in the box as well to expand the base playing experience.
