Not everyone gets an obituary. Most of the people I know who died didn't get one, or if they did it was in a small town newspaper thousands of miles away where they grew up instead of where they lived their adult life and died.

My entire life. I grew up attending Christian schools where we were taught that we're living in the end times.

The harmala should be, its Syrian Rue, which contains an MAOI and has been used in recent decades for creating ahistorical version of Ayahuasca by combining it with either a DMT containing plant or synthetic/extracted DMT. I think access to the actual plants used traditionally for Ayahuasca is more common so probably Syrian Rue has likely become less used for that now.

Their Flip VR controllers are really interesting. I'm surprised they aren't selling a package that includes everything.

4k microOLED per eye with such a low weight sounds like a winning combo for anyone looking to spend a lot of time in VR. I'm sure the panels alone are close to $1k so the total price doesn't seem that extreme. Its a niche product using cutting edge displays and custom lenses so there's kind of no getting around a high price. Hopefully its successful enough that they can release a cheaper QLED version next because the form factor looks great.

All of the above.

Another one is that they think they can manipulate or bribe him into exempting their interests or targeting their competitors.

There's also the true believers who fell deep into the cult and accept whatever Trump says as their current truth so economics isn't really a consideration for them now.

I do think most of them don't really believe him yet and won't until he actually starts implementing the tariffs and rounding up immigrants. Then we get to watch them freak out while the economy crashes yet again.

Just weird nonsense, nothing explicitly gross. Closer to schizophrenic ramblings but more comedic because they were doing strange voices and sounded like they were having fun.

I was in a Goodwill when an insane person took over the stores PA system and started saying crazy shit. The weirdest thing was that I didn't see a single person reacting at all, it kept going on and on but everyone in the store was acting like it was totally normal. I couldn't handle it and had to get out of there because I was laughing too much and feeling creeped out at the same time.

Wages have outpaced inflation recently. Things have generally been heading in the right direction since the pandemic but it came too late and the masses are mostly ignorant or misinformed so the data is irrelevant to them. Its about how people feel as you point out, there's not a rational argument against feelings, people feel how they feel. One side has become very good at taping into those feelings, the other side is talking about data and no one gives a shit unless the data validates what they feel.
