How do you think those people got power and how do you think those rich people keep their money? It's not just the illuminati in the background. They use free speech to convince people that their problems are caused by someone different, not the guy on the microphone robbing them blind.

I don't think it's a controversial statement to say fuck Nazis, we literally fought an entire war to make that statement. They don't get to have a podium anymore, because their ideas are evil and harmful to others

Have to be intolerant of intolerance or you lose freedom and free speech. We as a society have to decide that intolerant speech that tries to remove rights from certain demographics is in fact harmful and evil and intolerable.

We're not talking about academic debates here or hypothetical arguments. Folks are actively working to reduce the rights of others, and in some places they're winning. Advocating to reduce rights of others is not okay.

Normally I would agree censorship is not the answer. However without limits, we will see hate gain ground. Part of being a society is setting limits of acceptable behavior, we can't shit in the aisle at the grocery store, we can't propagate hate speech, both of these rules (should) exist to protect ourselves as a group. Pretty simple stuff.

Anything with a suppressor! Lol, love the 1911s just need a bigger mag. But primary right now swaps between the suppressed 1911 and a suppressed modified maelstrom with short scope, semi auto, and some other mods. The 1911 dps is awesome, but 45 ammo is still a pretty rare drop for me. Buying it every time I see it. The maelstrom is great for when I need more range or just don't want to reload every other second.

The rest of my quickbar changes a lot depending on what I find that's higher damage or dps. Rifles are my go to, but I'm trying to do a lot more stealth play (stealth overhaul mod made it way more fun), so the sneaky pistol shooting really brings back some MGS feel (until I break stealth and just go run and gun which happens almost every time eventually... which is actually exactly how my MGS playthroughs would go too).

Oh and you gotta have a good 40mm grenade launcher too just in case you get really pissed off!

The US Military also uses IRC, is that the future too? I'm sick of the ridiculous Signal hate with basically no good reason. Basically everything is run in AWS, or Azure, or Google cloud. All the governments have contracts with those cloud providers, because almost every organization large enough has things in the cloud.

Obfuscation is not meant to be foolproof. Without something like the Tor network (oh wait, the NSA and other organizations have already taken over that) WHO you talk to is not hard to determine. If someone is monitoring ALL network traffic in the world, they'll know who is talking to who everywhere. But with good end to end encryption and no server side logging recording who you talk to, that's definitely a good enough combo for me.

XMPP is certainly not a bad protocol, but I'm not seeing a reason to justify the Signal hate.

Hard agree. Hitting turn signals easily no matter how the wheel is oriented is important. And I hate using the touch screen on the model 3, mainly because the UX is just bad. Why do I have to go through multiple screens to put my car in carwash mode? I'm sure they'll make it an obvious, permanent button or something. But just not a fan.

Both these moves feel like they're "the human isn't driving anyways" oriented. But FSD is no where near ready for prime time, can't believe people are still paying for it

I'd love to see the actual sales numbers of recent, big titles on EGS vs Steam. I absolutely hate using EGS, and with the awesomely high game game density these days, I just don't mind missing the few exclusives until they get on steam, and even then it is only if I remember them, since usually the hype has died out by then, and other games are out. I have no idea what percentage of users are similar to me.

Secret History is a great read to revisit what happened during the original mistborn series from a "secret" perspective.

If you want a break before diving into another trilogy or series you can always check out Elantris , Warbreaker, or The Emperor's Soul. They're all stand alones that take place in the cosmere and are quick reads.

But as someone re-reading Mistborn, I love the Wax and Wayne series, they're great.

As others have said, you can jump to any other cosmere series and you'll love them too.

Here's hoping!

Absolutely watched both. Enjoyed both of them a lot. Wasn't quite the same, still, great shows

I liked the new season so far. But like anything, searching for nostalgia is never going to work. It'll never hit like it did when you were 20 years younger and watching the show for the first time

Delta Force, Blackhawk Down, and Joint Operations were my favorite games back then. I hope they keep the feeling of those games in the new one.
