I use this in my bash profile in case anyone else finds it helpful. Usage is:

gao fixing a typo

function gao() {
    git add .
    git commit -a -m "$*"
    git push origin `git rev-parse --abbrev-ref HEAD`
}

Each of these "paradoxes" appear to be built on psych/philosophical concepts. I think the only misstep was naming the infographic.

  • “Paradox of Abundance” comes from a parenting technique that abuses illusion of choice. It's not really a paradox but a skill for dealing with difficult people. https://lovevery.com/community/blog/child-development/why-fewer-choices-help-your-child-establish-independence/
  • “Paradox of Creativity” comes from intellectual property law and explores how much of an idea is considered original when it's built on all of human history. How responsible for a song can you be when you are using established notes, rhythm, timing, all music theory, instrument production, the skills of performers. Everything including language and writing. This is a cursed problem stemming from capitalism, not a paradox.
  • “Paradox of Consensus” explores herd mentally and due diligence. It also originated from an era where laws and government were more political and meant to protect against bias. Again not a paradox, and the weakest example

There is a reason they didn't offer specific examples. LLM can still scale by size, logical optimization, training optimization, and more importantly integration. The current implementation is reaching it's limits but pace of growth is also happening very quickly. AI reduces workload, but it is likely going to require designers and validators for a long time.

Arctic Circle in Utah gave out fry sauce (aka fancy sauce). It's just mayo and ketchup, but it was so popular all of the local chains started providing it as well (McDonald's, Wendy's, 5 guys). The better ones generally splash a bit of BBQ as well.

Water treatment plants just make the water safe, often you will need to filter it to remove anything else contained in the source water. Americans often buy filters to remove other contaminates, then you can go a step further with additives: magnesium sulfate, potassium bicarbonate, or potassium chloride and floride are pretty common. The minerals create the taste profile, it's the reason bottled water often tastes better than tap and why Dasani and Aquafina taste different.

Bagels shops often import water from new York for it's unique bacteria and mineral profile (similar to the magic soil in Italy for winemakers) https://www.ediblemanhattan.com/food-for-thought/why-is-new-york-tap-water-good/

How about unskippable cutscenes between saves and boss fights?

Regardless of user count they have promised support for windows 10 until October 2025. Windows 11 has more ads and data harvesting.

You must have struck a nerve or that user has other stuff going on. Several months ago AI was practically eating paste. It definitely has short comings now but the adaptive speed is definitely going to disrupt most markets. AI will be considering things that the users aren't aware of and have significantly more training than humans faster.

What did they shut down? They did make a second one and a lot of avatar characters are already on there. This is korras introduction https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=k0mcQSKvV7g
