The confusion is entirely surrounding the use of the word "racialized" to describe one's friend. Racialization is the construction of the concept of race by society. If everyone's race is a social construct, why refer to one person as racialized but not another?
The phrase "Spanish or Dominican or whatever" appeared elsewhere in this thread. The disappointment about receiving an AI generated birthday message is obviously understandable. Confusion is not the same as objection.

But only because I was treating it like a real game of Only Connect and figured there was at least a 50/50 chance I was just being baited into saying "Ensign" so Victoria could mock me.
This reminds me of last year's Christmas present from my husband - a homebrew powerpoint Only Connect game based on our favorite media. Instead of "twisted flax" or "two reeds" my categories were things like "lightsaber" or "Starfleet insignia." Love the format (and that sweet man).
