If you or a friend has a PS5 with a PS Plus Premium subscription, you can trial the game for two hours. Your progress will transfer over if you decide to buy, but that's as close as you're going to get to a demo I think.

They didn't though.

He became PM through an internal Tory vote for a leader, after the previous PM stepped down. She became leader in exactly the same way and had only lasted a seven weeks since her predecessor was forced to quit.

The Tories are truly awful, and their choice of leaders has shown that.

It depends on where in Europe you plan on going, but there's an abundance of good Caribbean food in the west, especially the UK. Authentic Mexican is harder to come by, but it's improving.

Yes! It's been a long day. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There's five episodes out so far, but another four are planned.

The series covers The Big Dig in Chicago and related stories from around it. Super interesting to hear how residents fought back against plans to destroy their community with freeways and some of the alternative plans which were put forward. Worth a listen if you're interested in infrastructure, but it has historical and political elements too.

Agreed. My brother and some friends both had humanist weddings over the past few years and they were great. They felt much more like a celebration than anything else which is exactly what a wedding should feel like.

Church weddings feel like slow torture. My uncle's wedding was at a church because the priest was a family friend of his wife's, even though neither of them ever go to mass.

It's listed on their official update video so it does exist. But it says "on compatible devices and countries" so might only be on the newest phones so far?

TickTick sounds like a good option for what you want. It's a very simple tasks list app but allows you to share those tasks with other users.

Imagine being so self obsessed that you feel the need to go out and insist your beliefs are more important than the rights of other people.

I worked in customer support for a car rental company when I was in my late teens in Ireland. An angry English woman called cause she had some minor issue. She ended up going on a rant saying "I specifically asked to not be given one of these foreign cars. Can't you give me something British, like a Vauxhall?"

I checked her account and could see she was driving an Opel Astra. She wouldn't believe me Vauxhall and Opel were the same brand.

I'm not even going to go into her referring to things as foreign while she was literally in a foreign country...

Hey all. Originally from Dublin but lived away a long time. Back visting for a few weeks and was looking for recommendations of dog friendly places around the city. Mainly looking for bars, restaurants, cafes and cultural/art places.

I know and have been to Two Boys, Gravediggers and a few others but would love to hear of other spots where I can sit in with the dog and avoid the absolutely torrential rain we've been having. City Centre preferred but open to anything.

Awful news. Truly one of Ireland's most legendary artists and an absolutely incredible performer.
