They were owned by Activision.

I watched this episode and really enjoyed it. Thanks for the recommendation.

That's pretty much expected for most remasters. They upscale some textures, add more resolution options, and add support for modern systems. It's like a remastered CD or movie, with the main goal (besides trying to get you to buy it again) being to release a less compressed version of the original.

This particular change would just be for the steam deck, since it is a steam deck client update.

It might be worth taking a look at the steam link community on steam. I saw a valve employee trying to help people diagnose issues in one of the pinned posts on the Android community.

Thanks for the link, I'll have to take a look.

I wanted to put more into the post, but I wasn't sure what would help. I don't watch a lot of TV, so it was hard to think of anything. I think the closest thing I've watched would probably be Stargate, which I enjoyed.

Anime does this a lot with the episode names.

Previously on ANIMESHOW: Oh no, Thompson has been captured by the Brookdale Pirates, will his friends be able to rescue him?

Episode 72: Thompson gets murdered by the Brookdale Pirates!

If it's legal money, then you aren't laundering it. Transferring money you've obtained legally is just transferring money. It's only money laundering by definition if the money was illegally gained.

There are plenty of posts on Lemmy where many of the commenters clearly didn't read the article. It just depends on how click-baity the title is.

They have a really small userbase, but it lines up well with the demographics here: Early adopter, tech enthusiasts with a distrust in Google and tired of how bad search is now.

Early adopters are generally very excited about whatever they've picked up. They feel the same way about a search engine the same way I feel about wearing only the same brand of black socks. Super excited to tell everyone about it whenever I get the chance because of how much it changed my life.

My first thought when I opened the image is that it was color shifted. It's got an 'old photo taken with a bad camera in low lighting' vibe.

It seems like they are talking about being on lemmy often, which is where they are reading this post. I've seen HN mirror links pretty often while browsing 'All' and this is the first time I've noticed this community. Many people browsing All have likely never interacted with your content before.

That's just a high latency internet connection.
