My wife's crockery cabinet. We bought it via an auction website from someone who swore it was brand-new. Guess he didn't realise if we knew it was built in the 1940s we would have wanted it more, not less.

For measuring brief periods of time, it could be how long it takes bubbles to reach a particular height from the sources. I'm sure it would be a bit different at each depth/pressure, so you'd need to take that into account.
