This was more than a decade ago. Someone from HR mistakenly emailed a spreadsheet of all employees’ salaries to a bunch of people who aren’t authorized to see it. As part of my job, my team was tasked to track down all traces of the file on email and company workstations and remove it. Naturally I was able to see the file because of my task. I saw how low my pay was compared to my colleagues and how absurd it jumps up in just a couple of levels in rank. I and a lot of employees quit shortly after.

Oh cool we have a TLDR bot on lemmy too! Good bot.
Yup, I have the beta versions of voyager, memmy, and mlem on my phone and just alternately switch to whichever app gets a new update; or if one happens to be buggy or unstable.
On your first point, there are tools already for migrating accounts although still in their early stages. For example, https://github.com/CMahaff/lasim allows you to move subs and blocks to a new account in another instance, but not posts and comments. I don’t think there’s a tool yet to move a community as a mod though.
Giuliani doesn’t elaborate on other instances when the Red Sea was parted.
I don't know why but this was so funny reading it.
That documentary is insane. If you didn't know what happened, you'd think the guy is just an obsessive eccentric and a bit of a creep with women. But knowing what happens, everything he says and all the red flags just clicks and makes sense. Very creepy.
Voyager has an app now too. It’s pretty snappy and has a similar interface as memmy and mlem.
I wonder how browsers like Orion work on IOS. You can install FF extensions like uBO and Privacy Badger on Orion.
Is sugaring ok/safe down there?
And not that weird packaged coconut water sold in the US that smells and tastes like coconut oil. Actual fresh coconut water is the best.
This is a great timeline format! Thanks!
The SANS ICS courses are the only ones I know that specifically focus on ICS; but yes, do not spend your own money to get expensive certs like those. Your employer should be paying on your behalf. Security+ is worth it if you’re making a lateral move to security.
