Imagine being this mad at someone who’s making an app without getting paid and doing it on their spare time. And the kicker is the dude’s a dev as well, so he of all people should know how it’s like to work on a project as a side hobby and a bunch of entitled people hate on it without really providing any constructive feedback.

Another reason I think is the safety inspection, since you generally don’t want non-road worthy cars going 60mph. And yes, I know some states don’t require inspections.

I too prefer reporting issues on testflight, but I’m guessing the devs can track reports on github better. I’m not sure how testflight feedback gets organized when devs receive them tbh.

All apps just pull content from lemmy. It’s absolutely a lemmy thing and Hot has been like that for a while. Top for the last 6 or 12 hours is a better “front page” feed for now until they improve Hot.

Yes please. I'm more of a city/urban person and would love to live in a mixed zone area where everything I need is a short walk or train/bus ride away.

You have to start somewhere. I convinced my immediate family to use it and we now use Signal for family group chats.

I've been providing feedback via testflight. Is reporting on github the preferred way?

I used Deezer for several years before they removed regional pricing. Sound quality was better than Spotify IMO, and I like their UI more. It's cleaner and less cluttered. The fact that you get lossless included by default now is definitely a plus too. You can also upload your own wav/mp3 files if you can't find it in their catalog. Never tried Tidal so I don't have an opinion about it.

I’m fine with it for now because the community isn’t very active yet. Maybe once activity picks up we can start filtering down sources.

More features too. What does Signal have? Stories. The kind of people who gravitate towards Signal are not the type to use Stories. I personally use Signal and try to get people to use it as much as possible, but that Stories feature is really a head scratcher, when they could have done some better and more useful features.

Thanks for the update! The app coincidentally crashed a few minutes before you posted this update. lol
