Ubuntu when I was a child, maybe version 6, and my uncle choose their PC with Linux over Windows. I didn't understand it very well, and everything needed commands: move, copy, extract, change name of files... I remember commands like echo, sudo and tar since then.

My first distro with Linux as daily use was Linux Mint 20.

Es el momento perfecto para hacerlo, creo que el éxodo desde Reddit será enorme.

Hi! Thank you and hi everybody :) I just opened account here and seems really good and better than I though it was due bad feedback of some people. Maybe Reddit has signed their gradually death sentence with the APIpocalypse. Using currently Jerboa and tried Lemmur before. Both are good but the design and intuitive UI I rather Jerboa. But I don't receive notifications I think :(

Somebody know why? Some bugs writing comments also, maybe due the high traffic for the huge exodus from Reddit or Jerboa bug? I could connect with Kbin Social or Mastodon also since here? How? Thank you!

Yeah works great too of that way!! I did with Brave too to can create communities, is there a lot of work to do in this massive exodus :)

I already tried both which I have installed, and Jerboa is more intuitive, beauty and similar to Reddit. Sadly seems the notifications don't work. Like Lemmur too but Jerboa is better.

In my Linux Mint I will use it using Nativefier, making an app which works with Electron and doesn't need any browser even. Later you create the desktop launcher, with the icon, and you have a really good way of using it!

Thank you so much for the info to the newbies! What client do you recommend, Lemmur or Jerboa for Lemmy? Easy and privacy friendly. I'm trying Lemmur and just made my account, with same nick as on Reddit. I will save this post!
