If you're going to do AI stuff you have to go with Nvidia. AMD is quite bad at it and in some cases doesn't support some technologies like Stable Diffusion at all.

I'd recommend a 3070 at least. You'll need the vram.

Click on the username on the top right --> settings --> scroll down and there should be a setting on which sort you want to set as default.

Don't forget to scroll down and hit "save" after you're done.

Literally nobody has ever said this lol

So excited. Helldivers was one of my favorite co-op games ever.

I mean, Megaman 11 wasn't that far away.

Also Megaman maker is excellent even though it's a fan project. Very active community and practically infinite levels if you're into that.

Another really hard drift map, but at least the scenery is very cool. Author time is practically impossible, so I'm good with gold.

Nice seeing Rain make a return. Those water graphics are so good.

That's not the danger. It's super easy to gather data on the Fediverse, I can just self-host an instance and connect with everyone and scrape the internet and all that.

The danger, from my pov, is that people would be so dependent on major companies that they can hold a power position over the Fediverse. If 90% of people on your instance use Threads, and Threads decides to defederate or slowly creep in proprietary features you're not allowed to use, people would feel like they're being forced to make an account there or leave smaller instances. That's the EEE scenario, I don't think privacy (from our end) is a huge concern right now.

If you defederate with non-meta instances you're going to vastly reduce local content and encourage people to give up and go somewhere else. What good would that do? Like I said I'm for defederating with Threads, but attacking everyone that doesn't is a waste of effort and is going to ruin the community.

My thoughts exactly hahaha

I'm for blocking Threads. I'm not for blocking instances that support Threads. That's ridiculous, you'd just split the community and make the Fediverse irrelevant.

I didn't say we should harass admins, I'm saying it's up to us as a community to either move to an instance that defederates or if you know what you're doing, stay on an instance that does federate and don't add content to Threads. Lurking is okay, but posting there means you're adding value to them and taking away from local communities and slowly rendering other instances irrelevant.

It bothers me that after leaving for-profit social media, a lot of people here are totally fine going straight back to them. Have we really learned nothing?

Goodbye, RiF! (self.redditwasfun)

I've been using Reddit is Fun for almost a decade, well before the official app was ever a thing. It's not the prettiest Reddit app out there, but it's by far the most usable, well thought out, feature rich app out there.

I don't wanna be overdramatic, so I'll just say thank you for working on this app for such a long time. Been a pleasure being a part of it, and it's a shame seeing it all go away so quickly.

It's going to take me a loooooooooooooong time to get used to not immediately clicking on that RiF when I open my phone. Godspeed on your future projects.

Not a surprising outcome considering how this game went down
