yeah exactly, imagine abandoning your entire worldview because someone was mean to you one too many times. You'd need to have no moral compass nor a spine to do that

trueee, the closest i got to social media back then was a forum for a game i liked with less than 50 regular members
not all bias is made equal or always something negative. Sometimes it's good to be biased towards the opinion of a scientist over the opinion of your aunt.

i don't even bother looking for those anymore. If i drop something tiny i just assume it slipped through the cracks in reality and will re-emerge at a random point in time, past or future
