Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!!! I know for many new Lemmy users (myself included - DAY 1 BAYBEE) it's so fun to shit on "that site" while not posting on "that site", of course it is and well deserved. But, we have the Undiscovered Country up in here. This is robust and full of so many sub-red EH.. Communities that are just like what we had over there, but we can make this whole thing even better. I'm so hype about this!
I know fuck all about coding and software but THIS IS THE ONE. It feels really neat being nestled in the foundation of something that's somehow already cozy. Only visiting that other site to mark which sub FORUMS might migrate over here

This exactly. Deleted RIF (was like putting down a beloved pet) and went in on trying to access the Thunder app like a madman. Between having Lemmy on mobile as well as right here, at home.. I'm set. Almost want to thank Spez for pushing us off the roof of a burning building only to land on the ground floor of something new and potentially even better than Reddit
