Same here. Some communities on reddit aren't gonna migrate due to demograpic issue. So I use both too.

I use subway tooter. It is feature-packed and have strong tool to crossposting across different accounts. But its interface is not that pretty and confusing for first timer. Not recomended for casual users. But if you run several mastodon account at once, it has great tools to make your life easier.

Lets trust our admins. I heard dbzer0 admin has that kind of script running.

I don't use signal desktop, but I did google the issue and it seems signal-desktop regularly has issues. see this https://github.com/signalapp/Signal-Desktop/issues/2442, but there are several workaround like in this thread https://github.com/signalapp/Signal-Desktop/issues/6247
It seem signal desktop created using electron, same as VSCode, slack, spotify, etc. Is same problem appears on those program? if not, it is just signal desktop that has the problem.

I don't know, maybe westerner community is a bit myopic and tunnelvisioned onto mastodon only.
There are a fork of misskey that focused on western culture and gaining popularity lately named Calckey. You can try that. It is as good as misskey.

It is popular, but only in japan. In fact, most of japan #twitterMigration has misskey as their destination.
And yes, imho, it is far better and more feature packed than mastodon.
