Nice! Reading WoT takes a while, but it so worth it

Thanks, I'm really looking forward to it! It's been a long journey through these 15 books. And Brandon Sanderson is great, I love the Mistborn and Stormlight books, but Elantris is one that really gripped me. Such a interesting and well-written story.
I've started A Memory of Light. The last book in the Wheel of Time series.
And I'm also reading Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
That's top notch
Seems to me that this is partly due to a lack of legislation when it comes to sick employees. I live in the Netherlands and if a employee gets sick a company has to keep paying their salaries for up to two years and help the employee re-enter the work place. Only after two years they can be fired, but then they get sickness benefits from the government.
Granted, this wouldn't overcome all obstacles and I can imagine pilots would still be hesitant to come forward. And companies might be hesitant to hire employees with a history of mental health issues.
I don't know, but Carroll already signed that huge extension with the D-backs that allowed them to avoid the arbitration process. But I'm also curious if it would impact the arbitration
Just out of curiosity, what's the benefit vs having the VPN on all the time?
I have the Fairphone 4 and I've been very happy with it. It's not as fast as the top models, but I have no use for a fast phone and every app I need works perfectly. It's been such a relief knowing I don't have to buy a new phone because the battery or the port died. And I tend to drop my phone regularly, so it's great that I can switch out the screen. I'll definitively buy another Fairphone when the time comes.
I thought the same thing. And now more reports are surfacing that the Blue Jays and Giants matched or came close to matching the deal. But with the Dodgers he has the best chance of making the postseason on a regular basis.
Yeah that would've been nice. Although I don't blame Breslow for going for pitching depth, there's a real lack of pitching in the minors. Let's hope they pan out
As a Sox fan I was expecting him to be traded this off season. Last year of his contract and he did seem to have some motivational issues in the last couple of years. Just weird to see him go to the Yankees though. But other than that I've always liked Dugie, so I hope he does well there. Just not too well lol
Yeah it takes so much dedication and practice to become a successful writer, so it's really remarkable that he wrote such a great story as his first novel. It shows his unique mind. And the raw (if you can call it that) feeling of Elantris adds to the charm for me. Its like seeing the writer grow and evolve before your eyes.
Oh wow, I didn't know that! And so far I've enjoyed how he wrotw the WoT series. Keeping in touch with the overall feeling of the books, but still writing within himself and not trying to emulate Robert Jordan.
