Are you shopping at the Dollar General?

Last time I was at a Walmart/Target/Publix/Ingles/etc all that shit watery beer is still there plus the largest selection of ales lagers and IPAs that there has ever been. Not to mention the ciders and seltzer that are huge now too.

Just wanted to chime in that I wholly disagree with this “beer was better back then” bullshit.

My mom buys the grocery store potted orchids all the time. When their bloom dies, she throws them in (what I’ve dubbed) the “orchid graveyard”. It’s just a spot in and around the large oak in her yard. Sure enough every year they rebloom. I doubt they all survive but the ones that do look amazing.

Ah bummer. Thanks for the info. Hopefully it comes back - I used it to set up a bunch of games that. As is tradition, I haven’t played any of the games I setup lol

Last night I picked up: Hollow Knight, Deus Ex Mankind Divided, Monster Sanctuary, Pillars of Eternity, Guardian’s of the Galaxy, Journey to the Savage Planet, and a Vampire Survivor DLC. Not bad for ~$60.

Probably gonna pick some more out for an even $100 lol Cult of Lamb is high on the list.

I registered at lemmy.ml, on 6/9. Wrote a sentence or 2 per question. Never heard anything back by email but I tried logging in the next day and I was in. Either they aren’t sending emails or something is broken with the mail flow. Either way took me less than 5 minutes to say I wasn’t a complete fuck and was looking to move away from Reddit. Actually this response might be longer than what I wrote to register lol

Huh - I had not even considered downvotes in other instances... Yeah that seems problematic. Maybe rather than defederating downvotes, there could be a way to differentiate between local and global up/downvotes.

Agreed - time will tell. I'm sure there will be growing pains, but with that, the moderation tools will improve.

Malicious instances would need to be blocked by the instance you are registered to.

As for multiple accounts - couldn't the same thing be done on reddit? Just make a bunch of alts and self-inflate your own posts/comments.

These issues are as old as the internet and can only be mitigated, not prevented.
