I think there's plenty of real life evidence that Trump doesn't care and will send his supporters to their deaths.

This is about the destruction of the education system.

Morale first and foremost. But we don't live in a dictatorship. There are still two branches of government capable of checks and balances. And one of those two directly answers to the people.
