Exercise never really gets easier, either mentally or physically. Even as a fairly neurotypical person, it's always easier to not work out than to work out. There's logical rationalizations that it's good for you and if you work out hard enough maybe your body will see fit to reward you with some endorphins, but it's only "habit" in so much that it's good self-discipline. I wouldn't lump it in with stuff like brushing your teeth at all.
roboticide
Favorite part is probably simply that they made such a good and well written D&D movie that managed to both convey the feeling of a D&D game to actual fans, and still be enjoyable and accessible to non-fans.
Favorite scene though, if I had to pick one? Probably Doric's wildeshaping chase, and the whole Underdark sequence. Themberchaud was such a chode, lol.
I was steadily approaching a million when reddit decided to implode.
Don't miss it or care. The point of the community was never about karma score.
The celebri-fication of IAMA definitely felt like a turning point for the website becoming more corporate.
It was "I Am A..." and you'd get interesting AMAs from "mundane" people like air traffic controllers or plumbers who didn't have anything to sell and just wanted to talk about what they do. Then it just became "I Am..." and it'd be a celebrity there to just hawk their latest project.
I miss it, and really need to check if a good IAMA alternative sprung up here.
I don't disagree, but there are better engagement and feedback mechanisms than just upvote/downvote. Something like what Tildes is doing, where you can contribute to tags on a comment ("Exemplary", "Joke", or "Noise" for instance). There are better ways to signify user contributions to a community than just how much karma they have.
Yeah, this is a "nothing of value was lost," moment by reddit, lol.
Admins do to them what they did to users and now they're pissed.
I haven't looked at the names of who have re-started up all the most popular communities from reddit, but I would expect to see some familiar usernames....
Yeah, it's pretty terrible now.
I was one of the first 100 users, almost a decade ago ago, and it was surprisingly chill. Everyone knew it was just shitposts and no one had anything to be proud of.
Now it's people who genuinely think they're hot shit. And it's so full of ego it's absurd. It's literally a joke subreddit guys.
He's a piece of shit, but worth noting he was a mod of /r/jailbait at a time that mod requests sent to users were auto-accepted. He did not need to actively do anything. All he needed to do was ignore his Moderator privileges and inbox for a while.
I also homebrewed a tropical pirate-themed campaign! The party currently got duped into aiding a lesser noble steal an ancient artifact and have fallen in with a pirate fleet. They're all various alignments of Good, so this is not where they want to be, but if they play their cards right, could potentially destroy the fleet and make off with a ship of their own.
Also trying to incorporate a lot of "realistic" elements from the Age of Sail, but a bit more of a serious campaign with some general shenanigans.
I'm sure people would also love to see your work over in !3dprinting.
But post the prints! Not the renders.
Exactly. Have we forgotten the impeachment already? And the second impeachment?
I'll believe Trump will actually go down for his crimes when we get a guilty sentence. There's still a long way to go between now and a jail time.
He may be able to delay until the election. Who knows what happens then.
He might win the election.
He may not be found guilty.
He might be found guilty and not do prison time.
He might be under home arrest and start an even more dangerous insurrection.
It's so stupid to ask what side we're on or accusing us of "moving goalposts." We're on the side of "Don't count our indicted chickens before they hatch."
