I'm more of an NPR guy...
Fahrenheit is designed for humans. Celsius is in love with distilled water at sea level. Kelvin and Rankine are actually useful in math, science, and engineering.
I like the project. I think this shows that we should all have friends with some welding experience and equipment at the ready.
Can you elaborate on the type of bike this is? Also, with this type of kick stand, what prompted you to add the welded end cap? Did it originally have a plastic end cap?
This post got downvotes but no comments?! If you have the energy to downvote, you have a duty to lay down some snarky, soul destroying put downs.
I'm really hoping that the general consensus on the betas improves so I can get onboard with my daily driver.
This is a good analysis of concords failure and what may come in supersonic flight soon.
Great pic! The water looks clear!
For now, use them all. I’m using Memmy, mlem, liftoff, wefwef, lemmy.world as a PWA, and thunder. So far it seems Memmy, mlem and wefwef are the most “iOS” of the bunch, but several variants have their ups and downs. For example, when I want a link to a community in the cleanest form, I go to mlem (three dots in top level of community provides a share button). Memmy is my main daily driver and does my notifications. Wefwef is just amazing that it is a web app. Thunder and liftoff feel like what I expect android to feel like (material design).
I expect I will settle into Memmy, mlem and wefwef with some occasional web app and website usage of lemmy.world, it is great to try them all right now.
We have options with servers, and options with apps, and we have no need for monogamy among these fine options.
Two birds, one stone.
If you go to profile -> settings -> email debug log you can outbound suggestions from the app.
You can also visit the Memmy community to interact with the developer, and other enthusiasts.
Mlem is a different app. Both are good, but only Memmy is currently released into the App Store.
If I didn't get a new phone every year I would likely not load a backup. It takes a bit more time when you just "sign in to icloud" and then go from there, but the phone feels a lot more "new". Loading my old backup on a new phone just has too much familiarity in the way of app arrangement and whatnot.
As with any new phone, ensure all of your core apps work before resetting the old one. Often 2FA and stuff can get you in a catch 22 if you are not careful.
