I have the theme files SOMEWHERE. It was Ubuntu 10.04 with a lot of Compiz and GNOME 2(?) Tweaks.

As a new Linux user at the time. I hated the look of Ubuntu 09.04 - 10.10 compared to Windows, but the netbook couldn't run Windows for the life of it. I swapped back a more normal desktop around 11.04

I'd be lying if I said it got better over time

They use pict-rs which looks like it was file system, but is now object storage

Edit: I am partially wrong. (See below)

They're stored on their host Instance. Only text is copied across instances.

They recently blocked a single instance due to the other instance breaking the law in the country vlemmy is hosted. I'm hoping all of this is just a database cleanup gone awry, I would have hoped @[email protected] would have made a comment SOMEWHERE.

Yep! Got bug requests immediately from MSEdgeRedirect breaking Copilot. I need to spin up an insider VM this weekend

It really shouldn't. Someone should give that dev a break

Oh hey, that's me

Why YSK: If you have a multistory home that has a large temperature difference between floors you may need to adjust your HVAC dampers and patch any leaks with aluminum tape.

As a first time home owner I learned this the hard way. My basement and 1st floor had a 10-15F difference in temperature with the basement always seeming to get most of the cooling. Adjusting my dampers significantly improved this and patching a shoe sized hole I found in the unfinished portion of the basement has made the temperature difference personally undetectable.

All in all, my HVAC went from needing 1-2 hours to cool to 30 minutes tops and Nest shows that I've pretty much halved my daily HVAC usage.
