To claim that consciousness could be an illusion is a self-contradictory statement as consciousness is where illusions appear.

This sounds a lot like the "did the chicken come before the egg or the other way around" God is defined as the progenitor of existence, but if something preceded or even paralleled God before existence, then that would have to be the real God instead, based on the ontological definition. That was confusing, but I only mention it because if you could have a "consciousness" which perceives another consciousness as illusory, (like one I could download into a machine) then your own "awareness" is just as relatively illusory as the first one.

Like, the universe comes from God, and some would say that you can't have one without the other. And our perception of the world stems from a consciousness, and some would say you can't have one without the other. I just wanted to talk about the problems that arise when you form a recursive pattern with these foundational ideas. What is really behind consciousness? Can consciousness lie to you? Of course. Should you stop trusting your consciousness? Not completely, you would become a vegetable. Bed sores hurt.

I'm just kinda rambling, but thank you for posting this stimulating topic. This consciousness appreciates it.

NewPipe is great on my phone, SmartTube for my TV. I tried showing others but it's like they don't think that there is a problem. I use Arch btw.

May I have mine directed by Roger Corman? It would have only one location and consist mostly of padding.

(🇺🇲(💣)) + (🇮🇱(💰)) == (🇮🇱(💣)) + (🇺🇲(💰)),

((🇮🇱(💣)) + 🇵🇸) = (🇮🇱 + (💥(🇵🇸))) = (💀(🇵🇸))

Yeah, I also get frustrated when I have strong feelings towards past memories. I can also relate how it is demotivating to experience the same old feelings in the face of having recently made progress on the issue, personally or socially.

Posting about it on here might be a form of a good way to vent or reprocess the event. Either way, I think it's really cool that you have awareness of yourself and also are trying to change for the better. That is not easy or simple.

It would be difficult, but you may want to try chatting with your Pops about what happened, in a calm and nonjudgmental way. Not talking about bothersome things can be temporarily useful, but it would probably be beneficial to both of you to lay it all out, y'know? Mistakes can happen. Perhaps we can think of a different method of handling habits, so that this doesn't come between you two again?

I'm sorry that these situations and events caused you to feel so awful. I'm still gonna be proud of you for wanting to improve, stranger. Best of luck!

What the hell happened? If it were vultures, then why aren't there more stories about this kind of behavior? What the hell could've scared this one group of vultures in 1876 Kentucky this severely? Gunshots? Strip-mining?
