I'd prefer a bloodborne remaster over ER DLC

How is that any different? It's still their religion that says when life begins. Other abrahamic religions do not believe that life starts at conception.

So what? The popular vote means nothing. Her campaign was incredibly arrogant. She took the entire rust belt for granted and lost because of it.

I'm certain it's much higher than 20 years ago but 80% is a huge stretch. The majority of the people I know in their 30s are married.

Gore absolutely did not make climate change his priority in 2000. That's just a straight up lie. He campaigned almost entirely on the economy and reforming social security and Medicare. Climate change was NOT a top issue for voters or for Gore in 2000.

You're the one rewriting history. Al Gore didn't run on climate change. Ordinary voters don't give a single shit about climate change in 2000. There was never any chance Gore was going to spend his political capital on climate change legislation.

The most we would have gotten from him is more incrementslism on the topic, like we got from Obama and Biden. The op is utterly delusional for posting such garbage.

They could have done that under Obama or Biden too then. So why haven't they?

Cool, then explain what he could have done that Obama and Biden didn't do already. You're massively overrating the impact one president has. It's not like he even campaigned on climate change in the first place. He didn't pull that schtick until after he lost the election.

There's no chance whatsoever that an Al Gore presidency would have averted the climate crisis. Absolutely none. I'm actually shocked that any adult could be this naive.

This isn't even true though. They attacked Mexicans for marijuana usage back in the 30s, they blamed AIDS on gay people, etc.

Lemmy is not much farther left than reddit is.

Also the younger generations who spend more time on these sites lean left to begin with. They aren't going to be repelled by people shitting on Biden.

It is happening constantly. These laws don't define what they mean when they say the mother's life is at risk, so doctors wait until women are on death's doorstep because otherwise they can be charged with a crime.

Pro-lifers don't actually think about the consequences of their vague ass laws. Women ARE dying because of the repeal of RvW and it isn't their fault, or the doctors', it's the climate of fear that was intentionally created by the extremists who support this bullshit.
