No, he was not "summarily executed", nor was he killed for speeding.

He was PULLED OVER, for speeding and dangerous driving. After such he refused directions, and was aggressive. Despite being used, he decided to go all-in and assault the cop, who he was managing to choke out. Cop pulled a baton and tried to use that but had no success while still getting choked, so finally went for his gun and - again while STILL being assaulted and choked - put a bullet in his attacker.

If he hadn't done so, we'd probably be seeing dashcam footage ending with a dead cop while his attacker took off and was subject of a manhunt.

Even after the shooting, the cop called it in immediately and tried to render aid.

If you're good, daddy will take you the range where we can take turns playing with his brand new gun!

Cool. Then we can convert it to housing

Yeah the first time I tried Brave it the a bunch of ads for their services - and asking about providing info to their partners - at me constantly. I don't understand why people use that PoS

-force -recursive but I like the way you think

Except that rising interest has also fucked up the market for builders who are now producing even less houses

There are three reasons that "good landlords" seem to be scarce:

  • People tend to be more vocal about bad experiences than good, so we'll definitely hear more about the bad ones

  • Many people decided to become a landlord because it outpaced other "investments" greatly, especially if you're a shitty landlord who doesn't put profit back into maintaining said "investment"

  • Many of the good landlords that did exist and weren't gouging eventually got hit with a bad tenant that cost them a lot of suffering and $$$ while being extremely difficult to evict. Whether it's true or not, I still hear current ones who say they're charging [crazy amount] to pad for the eventual $20k bill when a bad tenant wrecks their place (and these days it's not hard to do $20k+ in damage)

Also per the comic: I've never heard of anyone tipping a landlord, good or bad

Yeah as soon as you go with the term "Zionist" that pretty much gives away your agenda, bud.

I love movies and books that touch on topics like this, like situations where you've got a super-being but they build in limitations.

  • one who can "see" into the future for hundreds of years but can only actually view one timeline simultaneously and in real-time (meaning they could see any event in the future but would need to burn time in "the now" like watching a recorded video)

  • beings that constantly lose track of what the "current" reality/timeline is in a seas of possibilities (MIB3's "Griffin" is a fun example of this)

  • being able to know what significant future events will occur but unable to influence whether they do or not. Unavoidable destiny (e.g. Emma's Death in "the Time Machine" is unavoidable, though the exact many it occurs changes)

  • Knowing what "bad things" will happen but still being on the "best track" timeline as deviations make things worse (Loki, Butterfly Effect)

  • Macro level knowledge overcrowding micro level suffering in the backdrop of inter-galactic scales and infinite time

  • semi-autonomous superpowers commanded by unfathomable beings without fine control and a limited self-awareness

None of this of course is an argument for the existence of an actual deity that loves us but ignores us, however they are fun ways to think of how one might know the future yet not want or be able to change it.

Now I'm picturing two groups of cops on opposite sides of a forest clearing yelling "I'm taking fire" while blasting away at the opposite side, and some poor bastard in the middle getting caught in the crossfire before the morons figure out they were the ones shooting at each other.

Sometimes it's hard to tell maliciousness from massive incompetence because police often departments seem to have so much of both in ready supply.

And? If I blow up somebody's house and family with a $1,000,000 missile while they blow up mine with $150 worth of explosives, does that make one side more right?

No, both side are cooking in hatred. The bigger question isn't "who has the better ability to kill the other side" but rather "who has the better ability to break the cycle, and what can they do towards such means"

How much do they actually expect these to cost? How about they cancel fireworks at the next sports event. That'd probably cover it
