You can do something similar with the knock/tap feature. I have mine set to activate assistant and drumming a finger on the back twice about 1" below the camera works pretty consistently

I feel like the implementation was a bit gimmicky. I first used an IR transceiver as a remote on a late-model palm and the interface was much better than most apps I found on Android.

I wonder if it would be possible to pack that functionality into a smart-watch

Yeah that works best when they're combined with regulation of industry.

The same way they have with Facebook, Google etc. If they continue to do business in Europe with European users, they comply with European law or get fined significant amounts.

Many of the wireless devices I've had the dongle was really just a Bluetooth adaptor, but the Logitech ones seems to vary.

I managed to find this article on Logitech's site which lists all the devices except the 27Mhz ones as "bi-directional" so I'd guess that the name "receiver" may be deceptive in this case and that these are actually transceivers that both send and receive signals.

That's not a meme it's a timeline!

I think it will last, but little Reddit will as well, though possibly in a lesser state as some subs move here or elsewhere

LoL that's what I thought it looked like at first too!

Wouldn't you just set "networking" as a dependency on the unit of whatever you need started after?

Yeah this seems like a simple fix that nobody has been arsed to do, like setting a "don't take over BT audio when another audio device is connected" or setting a device priority with earbuds > car.

It's especially annoying when I'm listening to something on BT and my wife gets home, such suddenly yanks my call away as it connects to get car (or once when we both stopped at the same light and her car stole it from mine)

Ain't that the truth. Pi4 anything over 1Gb especially seems difficult to source
